Google Classroom Resources for US History

Certainly one of the biggest trends recently in education is going digital. I don’t run a paperless classroom, but definitely see the benefits of using technology resources effectively. I set out to create resources in Google Classroom that did just that. These Digital Interactive Notebook pages aren’t tech for for the sake of it, but rather use the features of Google Drive and online sites to effectively engage students.

I based them on how my traditional Interactive Notebook Pages helped students connect with the content. The Google Apps pages in my US History curriculum package feature new activities that can be completed all online with laptops, tablets, or any other device that supports Google Drive!

Links send students to reliable online sources for them to learn about the content. Students then can type directly on the pages, insert images, and drag & drop information for a variety of engaging, interactive activities. These digital notebooks are a fantastic way to integrate technology into your classroom and can be completed without printing any paper! Awesome for a 1:1 school or just a trip to the computer lab.

When you join Students of History, you’ll get immediate access to 17 sets of pages for each unit in the curriculum. All of them are also available individually or grouped together on Teachers Pay Teachers through the links below:
